A big congrats to Mary, the newest Featured Stamper (FS514)! What a big wonderful gallery she has! Since she has such a large gallery, I just picked a couple of pages at random & selected THIS from those cards. I kept the deer & trees but added some blues and rearranged the layout a bit.
After die cutting the front white panel, I made an arched frame for the window in order to have the dk blue show thru. I stamped the splatter bg in the opening w/ the white ink then added some stickles for sparkle. The light string was stamped w/ gray & lightly colored & the greeting stamped in black below it. The die cut trees were added w/ a little more stickles.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used for the light string.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

A big congrats to Shannon, the newest Featured Stamper (FS513) on Splitcoast! She has such a lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case. I was really intrigued by the Dendritic painting technique she used so I gave it a try. I kept that, & the wintry blues but used different images, a little different layout & added some fussy cut trees & snowflakes.
When I got ready to try this technique, I couldn’t find where I put my white acrylic paint, so I used some metallic white paint. The sheen makes it look more silver than white. I also used 2 pieces of stiff acrylic instead of glass. The acrylic paint dried really quickly, so I used a Versamarker over a few areas, sprinkled it w/ Stardust (clear glitter) embossing powder & heat embossed it. The trees & snowflakes were stamped on scraps of the same blue w/ white pigment ink & heat embossed w/ the same powder. Rudolph was colored w/ Copics & die cut w/ the matching die & on the greeting, I stamped it w/ midnight blue pigment ink & also embossed it.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used on Rudolph.

Be sure to check out the Yard Sale items and the great deals on the Clearance Stamps! And as always, we have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player.
Love this little cardinal sitting on the Holiday Mailbox! We have soooo many cardinals in our yard. It probably helps that we have an evergreen hedge that has berries in the winter, a bird feeder, a bird bath/water dish & plenty of trees. Up until today, it’s been so dry that the water thing (holds a gallon) has had to be refilled every day for over a month! Last week, we had a whole flock of robins lined up to get a drink. Anyway, after coloring the image, I added some stickles for sparkle & while it was drying, I die cut the papers. Instead of layering the image on top, I went w/ making frames to go around it. I like how the paper complements the image & the sparkle of the pink glitter paper adds texture & holiday fun.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!
