A big congrats to Tracey, the newest Featured Stamper (FS501) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful little gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the Halloween theme & layout but I used different images, moved the greeting to a separate layer & made mine a stamp selfie.

As you can see, the problem w/ taking a selfie (especially if you’re a pumpkin) is that you’re probably not going to get all of your little self in the picture. The pumpkin patch was stamped & colored & I also did a few extra to cut out. I die cut the polaroid frame & attached it over the pumpkin selfie & added the greeting circle on top. The greeting is actually a combo of two different ones I put together.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

I was out of town for Marg’s Featured Stamper (FS500) gallery last Sunday, so today I have a quick little fall card. THIS is the card I chose to case. I kept the colors (love them!) but I used different images, a slightly different layout (since her’s was for a sketch) & made mine a fall card.

This card was really quick..I already had the white stitched frame w/ the window cut out so I stamped the woodgrain onto the teal bg & attached it underneath the frame. The big leaf frame was die cut out of another piece of white. I carefully placed a not so sticky piece of scotch tape behind all the cut out pieces of the leaves, lifted them as one from the frame, then sponged on the yellows & oranges & put them back. The greeting flag was added along w/ a few sequins & done!

For today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC562) & the Ways to Use It Challenge (WT600), I made this Halloween card. I was inspired by all the shapes & colors of THIS picture but I made them hexagons to fit the WT Challenge.

I die cut the white layer w/ a stitched rectangle & also die cut a large hexagon toward the top. Then I used a Copic Multiliner pen & a hexagon template to draw all the different hexagons & add the faux stitching. I’m not gonna lie…it took a while to color in all those hexagons & shade the faux stitch lines. I was so impressed w/ a card Jennifer Dove did using faux circles, I thought why not try hexagons? The cute little witch was stamped & colored on a separate piece & I cut around her hand to lift it over the frame.
