Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs 5th Anniversary Release Hop!  Each year, Kelley allows each of her design team members to submit a Scripture Verse, a sentiment or a quote, and those submissions are made into the Anniversary sets.  Today’s hop will show most of those submissions, and we truly hope you love them as much as we do!

Since it mentions Rainbows, I used 4 colors of ink to stamp my sentiment and also the Elegant Oval image. I used a piece of designer paper and cut around the clouds at the top and bottom. The diagonal check patter on these corners is the reverse side of the paper I cut off. I liked it, so I turned it to this side and put it back. A few punched clouds and a rainbow of gems in graduated sizes were added after I attached everything to a coral layer. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

This is also for the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast today (IC380) and I chose this Flying Kites fabric.

Weekly-Favorite At North Coast Creations, we are very excited to share with you our first New Release! Our design team members (known affectionately as “The Coasters”) have created some very adorable cards!

For my first card, I stamped the chick once on white and the flower bonnet again on polka dot paper. After coloring the chick with Copics, I die cut it using a Spellbinders Labels 18 and a larger label out of the reverse side of the polka dot paper. The cut out bonnet was attached on top. The larger white background was embossed and the sentiment was stamped and I used a partial circle die cut for it. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

Supplies:

Stamps: North Coast Creations – Flower Bonnet Chick, Our Daily Bread designs – Earth’s Gladdest Day (sentiment),
Paper: Neenah white, bright yellow, dp ( ATD (Momenta)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, dandelion

The Technique Challenge on Splitcoast today (TLC420), is light to dark…a gradient color challenge. Love me some gradients and since I was making a masculine birthday card, I used shades of brown. I hardly ever use browns so this was a bit of challenge for me. I used Copics for all the coloring on my gradients layers.

The images are from DRS Designs. I stamped the silhouette hiker and trees w/ the cocoa ink and die cut w/ the oval. I cut a larger oval and went around the edges w/ shades of brown/orange Copic markers. I used the sam markers for the edges of the larger rectangle and the narrow strip down the side. I overstamped it w/ lines design and the Memento inks. I stamped the trees again on the backing rectangle and the lines on the chocolate piece.

These are the inks and Copics I used:
