What a terrific color combo for today’s Color Challenge (CC352) on Splitcoast (vanilla, red & green)! Perfect for Christmas…if only this was a Christmas card, lol. I just finished making 40+ Christmas cards and I really wanted to do something else today. I think the red/green worked out OK for my spring card.
The clover (all images are Our Daily Bread designs)was stamped twice on vanilla, water colored and die cut w/ the matching die. The daisies were stamped on white, water colored and fussy cut. The window was die cut and inked DTP and also sponged w/ the red Distress ink. The curtains were clear embossed on vanilla and sponged as well.
The vanilla honeycomb bg was clear embossed, so it’s kind of subtle. I arranged the clover and cut apart daisies around my window and added a sentiment across the upper left corner. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

Isn’t this a wonderful set? I love the clover and little bees and the quotes are beautiful! For my card, I stamped and water colored two of the clover images and used the fabulous matching die to cut them out. I love fussy cutting, but give me a die like this, and I’ll hang up my scissors in a heart beat! I also die cut piece of card board to attach under one of the clovers for a little lift. After stamping the quote on some gold parchment c/s, I attached a black frame with a Spellbinders label 17 cut out of the middle.
The beautiful honeycomb background image was stamped on top of a subtle dp pattern. the black/cream dot pattern is another dp pattern. I didn’t have the right size brads in black, so I used a black Permapaque marker to color some white brads and heat set to dry them. The finished ivory card is 5.5 x 4.25.
Your next stop in this hop will be to Sabrina’s beautiful blog!
