I love these new snowflake sets! To me snowflakes are just so happy! I’m using the new Sparkling Snowflakes, Bookmarks-Snowflakes and 2 previously released sets for the sentiments, Perfect Gift and Holly Tag. I also used the Bookmark Dies to die cut the bookmark.
For the bookmark, I stamped it with the indigo pigment ink and embossed it with the stardust powder then die cut it with the bookmark die. The sentiment was stamped with the silver pigment ink and embossed with the same powder and die cut with an oval die. I made the bookmark double sided thinking it would make a lovely Christmas tree ornament until after the holidays. Then it could be used as a traditional bookmark. On my coordinating card, I embossed the snowflakes on the cobalt blue background and also stamped most of them again using the cobalt dye ink. I embossed one extra small snowflake and die cut it w/ a circle die to add in the center of the white holiday tag ornament star I hung from the white bow. The sentiment was also embossed on white, die cut attached to a larger cobalt oval then to a white die cut fancy tag. I added some crystals for a little extra bling.

Oh GASP Julie…. this set you made is sooo gorgeous!!! LOVE the sparkle! You really captured that in your photo… unlike me! I can’t seem to capture that at all! Your card and bookmark simply sparkle! I can only imagine how pretty your shimmery, starburst-y creations must look in person if they look so lovely as just a picture on the internet. What a great idea to make the bookmark double-sided for display as an ornament for Christmas. I really like the touch of blue fibers mixed in with the ribbon on the bookmark as well.

Blue and White is my favorite color combination and it looks totally elegant in this project. I really like the silver, sparkly high lights.

Another stunning blue and white combination, but the silver gives it just enough bling. One can never get enought bling! The bookmark is quite lovely and the music background is fast becomea a favorite.
As soon as I saw the book mark set I knew it would make its way to me eventually and seeing yours has only confirmed that for me 🙂
