Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs February Release! We have some gorgeous images & dies this month and you are going to love them! First the details of the prizes:
Three winners will be randomly chosen from the comments left on the designers blogs to receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps. You have until February 2, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. EST to make your comments! The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on February 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!
For my first card, I started by sponging different colors of pink inks onto white card stock. I die cut the ornate heart, the center heart and all of the smaller hearts out of it. The Valentine greeting was stamped onto the center heart and to help set it apart a little, I added a die cut ribbon tag underneath it. The white panel was embossed w/ little hearts and the leftover rectangle (used for all the heart die cuts) was used to back the embossed panel. One of the beautiful ornate borders was used for the white lacy strip beneath the hearts.
Supplies:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs – Be Mine |
Paper:Â Neenah white |
Ink:Â Memento tuxedo black, Distress Inks in spun sugar, worn lipstick, festive berries, Kaliedacolor Berry Blaze |
Accessories:  ODBD Ornate Hearts dies, ODBD Beautiful Borders dies, Cuttlebug Love Language embossing folder, Spellbinders ribbon banner die |
On my second card, I used the beautiful Heart & Soul set. I love the patriotic theme to this set and since it has a bit of distressed look to it, I used papers that seemed to carry that over. I used a combination of inks on the image before stamping it on ivory and die cutting with the matching die. Â The smaller center heart was done the same way. The greeting was stamped with the same combination and die cut with a pennant die. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Supplies:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs – Heart & Soul |
Paper:Â ivory, dp (Prima – Moulin Rounge, Bo Bunny – Timepiece Moments) |
Ink:Â Distress Inks in fired brick, aged mahogany, stormy sky, chipped sapphire |
Accessories:  ODBD Ornate Hearts dies, Spellbinders nested pennant die, heart brad |
Please be sure to stop by and see all of the beautiful creations with these fabulous new images & dies!
