\nSpring is a time when a lot of weddings take place and today I have some new dies and paper featuring the Spring Wedding theme. This wedding couple and flowery print paper are just gorgeous! It would be fun to use the bride’s wedding colors to customize your card!<\/em><\/span>

\nThis is a sneak peak of new dies & paper coming \u00a0a little later this month! For the Featured Stamper Challenge FS1000 (wow what a big number!), we drew a random number from all of the previous 999 FS Challenges & the winner was Claudette (lamoore) who was FS663 back in 2019. I chose THIS<\/a><\/em><\/span> card to case. I kept the layout & gold accents but used different dies, colors & papers. I also moved the greeting from the circle to the bottom of the card.

\nTo make my card, I die cut the wedding couple, her out of a lavender & him out of a dark purple. I used white for the dress, veil & tux collar. I had some tulle, so I folded some into pleats & wrapped it around her dress & veil. The leaves, greeting & scallop circle were cut out of mirrored gold. I used the ampersand from a fab new set, but wanted the Mr & Mrs so I cut them from a Merry Christmas script die then snipped & pieced them together. Here’s a hint for lining them up to attach to the card: line the letters (or words) up as you want them. Cover them w\/ a piece of tape that’s barely sticky. I used transparent tape that I stuck to my t-shirt several times to take most of the sticky off. Then add adhesive to the backs of the letters & place on your card where you want them. Rub it down slightly, wait a minute, then gently pull the tape off.<\/em><\/span> Then the rest of the card was assembled.
