\nToday I have an easy, very glittery Christmas card. Everything except the white bead board mantle strip was die cut out of glitter card stock. I love sparkle for the holidays and the recipient is sure to love it, too. It’s also a great way to use that fancy Halloween boot for the winter holidays by turning it into an elf stocking!<\/em><\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nFor the Inspirations Challenge IC1040, we are visiting The Permanent Garden & their Pinterest Board where I was inspired by THIS<\/a><\/em><\/span> picture.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nTo make my elf stocking card, I die cut the boot out of green glitter card, & 2 of the cloud die out of white glitter w\/ the string out of red glitter. I trimmed off the top of the boot to make it a little shorter, then put it all together & popped it up. The mantle is part of the Farmer’s Market die set & the little wreath & trees are part of the Farmer’s Market Winter Add On dies. The Joy was cut out of white, along with the wreath & the shadow was cut out of red. The white wreath was embellished with the ornaments & bow & used in place of the O in Joy. Love how it fits so well! The narrow red glitter is actually very narrow washi tape. I cut a piece of white just slightly larger than the stitched panel the attached the glitter washi tape around the edges before attaching the stocking panel.
