\nMasculine cards can sometimes leave you at a loss for ideas. These new silhouette dies are perfect and so easy to build a scenic card using them. The background is color blended then the scene added on top and finally the silhouette fisherman. Sure to impress the men in your life.<\/em><\/span>

\nFor the Inspiration Challenge IC1016, we are visiting Cotton & Crete and their Pinterest Board. The cover of THIS<\/a><\/span><\/em> book was my inspiration.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nTo make my card, I started with white panel cut just about 1\/4″ smaller than a standard 4.25 x 5.50 card front. I used the inks & blending brushes to color it, roughly mapping in where I wanted the colors to change. After putting it into the Misti, I stamped the silhouette grasses at the very bottom & the silhouette trees at the top where the color changed from blue to sunrise\/sunset colors. To add a little more interest, I die cut the center w\/ rectangle die & edged it w\/ a black marker. A slightly larger white deckle layer was added to a thin black mat & attached behind the center scene, then attached back on top of the rest of the scene. A narrow black mat was added underneath it before attaching to the card. The greeting was stamped & the fisherman silhouette added.
