\nMy card today features a beautiful new Rose Cover die. I’m already picturing all the lovely cards I can make with this. On this card, I picked a couple of background papers and covered them with glitter to put behind the cover die. This is so sparkly! And it wasn’t hard to make, since the cover die does most of the work.<\/em><\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS928)so a big congrats to Victoria! She has such a lovely gallery & I chose THIS<\/a><\/span> card to case. I kept the single, big rose & thank you theme, but I used a cover die instead of a stamped one, added glittered paper behind it, & heat embossed & die cut the greeting.

\nAfter I die cut 2 of the Rose Covers out of white, I tried a lot of different backgrounds, until I came across a glitter behind acetate & I liked how it looked. But the colors were wrong, so I found a shaving cream bg in blues & greens that I liked & a mottled rose paper. I spread a coat of Diamond Glaze over both w\/ a paintbrush, then sprinkled some pink, clear & green glitters over each. While they were still wet, I pressed down a think sheet of cellophane packaging. I couldn’t find my acetate sheets, so I used what I could find. They will peel up when dry if you play with them, but I sandwiched the glittered paper between the 2 die cuts so they won’t go anywhere. I actually attached the first cover over the green background, then attached the pink one on top in the rose area, then attached the second cover on top. \u00a0The greeting was heat embossed w\/ a glittery pink\/red powder & die cut. I stacked it w\/ another plain layer & card board to elevate it a bit.
