\nAn easy, fun beach getaway card, wonderful for birthday, spring break, summer vacation or just to send to a friend. A little masking, sponging & some die cut images and done! Change the greeging or colors to customize for a special occasion.<\/em><\/span>

\nA big congrats to Wanda, the newest Featured Stamper (FS891)! She has a really super gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS<\/a> card to case. I kept the layout, sponged half rectangle & trees to the side. I used different images, dies, colors & made mine summer or spring break themed rather than Christmas. I also added a narrow black layer behind the main panel.

\nMy card is fairly easy. I used a rectangle mask to cover the outside edges & sponged the yellow & red inks inside, going from the bottom left corner up & in. I started w\/ the yellow, then added the lightest pink, going to the darkest pink toward the inside left edge. The beach girl & bag were colored & die cut, the palm trees were colored & fussy cut. I also cut the small tree off & moved the trunk to the other side of the large tree for a better fit. The girl & trees were popped up just a bit.
