\nPerfect card for a tea lover or friend you haven’t seen in a while. The floral teapot stands out against the black & white lattice background. Just a few days, a bit of pretty paper & whatever other two colors you pick & you have yourself a card.<\/em><\/span>

\nIt’s my turn to host the Inspiration Challenge & we are visiting MacKenzie-Childs & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS<\/a><\/span> picture. I liked the pink flowers against the black & white check. Since I didn’t have anything w\/ black & white checks, I used a lattice die with some black & white inserts to give the impression of the pattern. The tea cup & teapot were die cut out of floral paper & also a pink paint chip. I wanted a couple of shades of pink & paint chips are great for this. I pieced the parts of the tea cup & teapot together, then popped them up to add some dimension.

\nThey were attached to a fancy die cut oval & the greeting was cut out using one of the suitcase parts that happened to be the exact size I needed. Lastly, a little pearlized jewel was added to the teapot lid.<\/span><\/p>\n
