\nIt\u2019s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC892) this week and I chose Vintagraph.com & their Pinterest Board. THIS<\/a><\/span><\/strong> was my inspiration. I love vintage postcards and as a Texas native, this one really appealed to me.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/del><\/span>
\nMy mini slimline card was made by first die cutting then sponging the ink colors onto the white panel. The words Greetings & from (2 different sets) were stamped in the upper left corner. The stitched letters, longhorn\u2019s horns, the cowboy on horseback & hat were die cut from a thick calendar page. After I arranged the TEXAS where I wanted it, I placed semi-tacky piece of tape over them & lifted them up. Two more of each letter was die cut out of white & arranged to shadow the letters. Then I put glue on the back side, attached it to a piece of cobalt blue & hand trimmed around the the letter group. I used the same blue to cut the ground then attached the longhorn, hat & horse w\/ cowboy.
