\nFor the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC854) we’re visiting a Pinterest Board called The Postmans Knock where I found THIS<\/a><\/strong><\/span> picture.<\/span>

\nI wanted a watercolor look to my branches so I put a die cut piece of water color paper into my Misti to allow me to stamp the same branch w\/ different shades of inks. On the first impression, I misted the branch w\/ a little water. After stamping w\/ 2 or 3 colors, I also used some water based makers to add a little more depth to the leaves. The greeting was stamped on a separate piece of w\/c paper along w\/ the butterfly. I used a water brush to spread the ink colors inside the butterfly then stamped it again using the darkest of the teal inks. I repeated this on a scrap of w\/c paper & cut that butterfly out to pop up on top of the base image. The greeting layer was popped up on top to give some dimension.<\/span>
