\nIt’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS747) this week & a big congrats to Diane! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS<\/a><\/span> card to case. I kept the palm trees & birthday theme, but I used different images & dies, left off a layer & skipped the embossing.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nFor my beachy bday card, I die cut the smaller white panel, then used a large reverse circle mask that left the area w\/ the sun open so I could sponge the yellows & orange inks to create my sun. The waves were die cut out of a couple of colors of blue, the palms trees out of brown w\/ the fronds from some different scraps of green, then they were pieced together. I hand cut a small island out of the brown to ground the trees \u00a0then added the 3 seagulls. To add a little texture to the palm fronds, I took a piercing tool & creased the lines on them. I did the same to the trunks of the trees.<\/span>
