\nA big congrats to Gem, the newest Featured Stamper (FS734) on Splitcoast! She has a beautiful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS<\/a><\/span> card to case. I kept the layout, w\/ the flowers & strips across the top, but I used stamped & watercolored flowers instead of die cut flowers, different colors & made my strips wider.

\nFor my card, I stamped the florals onto 90# watercolor paper & used Brushos & water to paint my peonies. I like how vibrant the Brushos colors are & I used them like regular watercolors..mixed the powder in a palette w\/ water & painted. The purple strips were die cut by cutting the purple once w\/ a lg stitched rectangle die, then moving the bottom up to cut the strips. The flowers were cut using the matching die & the leaves were fussy cut.<\/span>
