\nIt’s my pleasure to guest host the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge (WCW018) on Splitcoast. The technique I chose is Watercolor on embossed paper<\/a>. I thought it looked interesting but easy enough for everyone.<\/span>

\nSince I wanted to make a Halloween card, I chose a couple of Halloween themed embossing folders to go w\/ my cute little die cut owl. I embossed the large bg w\/ the wordy folder then followed the instructions on the video using bright, Halloween colors of my Peerless watercolors. After it dried, I thought the words didn’t really pack the punch I wanted so I inked the inside of the folder w\/ black soot Distress oxide ink & embossed the watercolored bg again. Much better! Now the words really show up.<\/span>

\nI did the same for the little orange Wicked strip & perched my owl on it.<\/span><\/p>\n
