\n<\/a>A big congrats to Suzy, the newest Featured Stamper (FS585) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & since she lives in Texas & I am from Texas, I couldn’t resist picking THIS<\/a><\/strong><\/span> card to case. She has a lot of Tx themed cards but I liked the Tx flag on the balloon so I kept that. I used different stamps & dies & put my Tx flag on a punch out of the state outline.<\/span>

\n<\/a>This card turned out to be a little trickier than I thought it would. Mostly because the big Hot Air Balloons bg die actually has a very large balloon in the lower left that I didn’t want to be there. So I had to die cut it pretty carefully using a smaller top plate to avoid cutting it out. A tiny bit of it did start to cut so I covered it up by die cutting a small cloud in that area (just to right of her face). I also die cut a lt blue layer & lined it up a little off to shadow the white. The right balloon has a colored Tx state punch under it. The little cowgirl was done separately & fussy cut around the top & sides to go on top.<\/span><\/p>\n
