\n<\/a><\/span><\/strong>To make my clean & simple St. Patrick’s Day card, I die cut all the pieces and parts out of a water color background I had in my stash. It was a largish leftover from something else, made w\/ yellows & greens Brushos crystals. The colors were perfect for a St. Patrick’s Day card & the little bird<\/a><\/span><\/strong> was die cut out of an area where the greens faded into white. I liked the way it made him look more like a real bird w\/ varied coloring. (The shamrock in his hat is part of the Little Critters die<\/a><\/strong><\/span> set.) The Lucky die<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>was cut once out of the w\/c bg & once out of a lime green I used underneath for a bit of a shadow. For the embossed edges, I used a scallop ribbons folder then cut away only one part to use as the edges on either side. The shamrock balloons were added w\/ some Baker’s twine strings.<\/span><\/p>\n
