\n<\/a>I\u00a0made this really bright, neon pink & blue Valentine for a couple of Splitcoast challenges…the Sketch (SC630<\/a>) & the Clean & Simple (CAS414<\/a>). The CAS challenge theme was Peek a Boo & that’s why my little monster is coming thru the heart opening. I started to try & work in the Color Challenge, too, but I already had this cutie colored & die cut & no way was he even close to right colors.\u00a0<\/span>

\n<\/a>I already knew I wanted this to be a Valentine so I used the Monster Love greeting & had the smiley monster<\/strong><\/span> coming out of a heart shaped opening in a much l<\/strong>arger heart<\/strong><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span> To have the greeting<\/strong><\/span> & stripe hearts<\/span><\/strong> show up on the blue, I heat embossed them using a bright magenta powder.

\n<\/a>Behind the lg neon pink heart, I attached a heart cut out of thin foam to elevate it a bit. I also added a piece of white behind the monster so he wouldn’t fade into the blue of the bg.<\/span><\/p>\n
