\n<\/a>Today’s Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS399<\/a>) asks us to spook out the gallery w\/ a Halloween card. I think these Zombie images are pretty darn spooky! And fitting..since they film The Walking Dead in my area. So far, I’m just not seeing a way out for those non-zombie\u00a0folks. But it does remind me of a joke I read…”if the zombie apocalypse ever happens, I’m going to Costco..they have concrete\u00a0walls, years of supplies & you have to have a membership card to get in”. Yep..that’s where I’m heading!<\/span>

\n<\/a>I picture \u00a0these zombies as kind of greenish gray so that’s how I colored this\u00a0Zombie Gal<\/a>.<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Since the background is also a shadowy gray, I wanted some color so I added the orange to her shirt & the\u00a0spooky moon<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>(which was stamped separately & fussy cut).\u00a0<\/b>The bg was sponged in using the pumice ink & a cloud stencil I made using a piece of acetate (from a piece of packaging) & a pair of scallop scissors. I made it out of the plastic because I wanted it to hold up & also so I could wipe it off. Since it was made years ago, so far, so good! I used the same ink to stamp the grass.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
