\n<\/a>It’s week 3 of my Guest Designer spot on the Splitcoast Color Challenge. The colors this week are gray, lagoon & honey w\/ the dessert being a masculine card. So I thought it would be a good time to make a Father’s Day card.<\/span>
\n\"Lighthouse
\n<\/a>I love the look of Prismacolor pencils on toned\u00a0card stock..usually I’ll pick kraft but since one of the colors is gray, I used it instead. After putting the lighthouse in my Misti, I stamped it w\/ Memento, colored w\/ Prismas, then overstamped w\/ Versafine. Actually, no black pencils were used on the lighthouse..just very dark grays, lt grays & white. I finished off the scene by adding the water & seagulls then added a white mat on top. The greeting had to be split to fit the vertical pennant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s a look at the inside. Since my dad lives a handful of states away, I thought this greeting was perfect. But since he was in the Air Force, I hope he doesn’t think I moved him to the Navy.<\/span><\/p>\n
