\n<\/a>Today’s Color Challenge (CC536<\/a>) on Splitcoast uses red, navy & a marina teal color. To tell the truth, I actually finished this Monday but hadn’t taken pics yet & when I saw the colors, I thought…hmmm… looks like I lucked out!

\n<\/a>I stamped the lighthouse once on Neenah white & again on X-Press It white. The Neenah version was masked and I sponged the sand, sea & sky then stamped the stars at the top w\/ white pigment ink. After the Neenah version\u00a0was die cut, the XP version was colored with Copics & fussy cut to add on top. \u00a0I used a white Prismacolor pencil & a yellow Copic to add the light rays from the lighthouse. For the large background, I used a mask to sponge the sky & sea & added more stars as before. The header was die cut, punched & the greeting stamped on top. The little swirls from the punch excess were added on the sea as “waves”. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used & a look at the inside.
