\n<\/a>Since the DT had the extra challenge of using glue, I started with some leftover pieces of card stock and my hot glue gun on the “low melt” setting. After burning myself one too many times on the hot melt setting, I figured the low setting would be perfect for melting on paper. On the long strip, I first sponged a little fall color on the white textured strip then drizzled the glue haphazardly. While it was still hot, I sprinkled on some sparkly glitter that has some pearl ex like powder in it, waited for it to cool, then brushed off the excess. On the leaf piece, I puddled a bunch of hot glue in a circle, then melted it smooth with my heat gun. Immediately I pressed the small maple leaf into it, let it cool enough to pull the stamp out, heated it again with my heat gun a bit then sprinkled on the same glitter.

\n<\/a>The greeting and maple leaves were copper embossed on vanilla. The greeting was die cut and the leaves were fussy cut. Some metallic copper layers and fun fibers were added to finish.
