\n<\/a>A big Congrats to Katie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS392<\/strong><\/a>) on Splitcoast! It’s kind of funny, but a few weeks ago when I was asked to guest host the Queen For The Day challenge, the new Queen was Katie, who was also on my list for next up on the Featured Stamper challenge. So I just switched weeks and waited a little while to feature Katie. I chose THIS<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> fun card of Katie’s to case. I kept the watermelon, colors & layout, but I used different images, left off the dry embossing and stamped my own black\/white background. I’m also adding this to a couple of Dare to Get Dirty Challenges…DTGD14cathymac &\u00a0DTGD14DiniA.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>

\nThis is actually a 1 layer card. I die cut the main panel out of a 5.25 x 4 inch piece of white card stock &\u00a0on the left over frame, I stamped the checkerboard bg<\/a>. For the main panel, I masked off the area on the left and stamped the watermelon border<\/a>. After masking it, I\u00a0sponged \u00a0on several colors of green ink & stamped the lines bg<\/a>\u00a0w\/ the darker greens, removed the mask &\u00a0colored the watermelon. The watermelon & ant<\/a> image was stamped on a scrap of white, colored &\u00a0fussy cut. I trimmed the checkerboard around it a bit to fit in the space. I used a SAMJ to rearrange the greeting<\/a> a bit. Added some twine & a button then attached it back into the narrow checkerboard frame. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.<\/span><\/p>\n
