Happy 4th of July!<\/strong><\/span>
\nToday’s Mix challenge (MIX75)<\/a> on Splitcoast is to have a repeating item, or a parade of items. Gotcha covered! A row of pennants, a background of stars and a heart full of stars & stripes. And since it’s a MIX challenge, I have distress inks, embossing, embossing resist and some sequins thrown in.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For my patriotic card, I white embossed both of the stars & stripes hearts, and used distress inks to sponge \u00a0over the embossing, then die cut them. The red star was a leftover I cut on my Cricut. The patriotic pennants were\u00a0die cut and w\/ the die still in place, I stamped the stars & stripes pennants. The stamps are clear, so it’s easy to see where to stamp. The large pennant in the corner was also die cut. I used the A2 matting basics dies to cut the frame. The star bg inside the frame was made using the stormy sky ink & embossing folder stamping<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
