\nCongrats to Viv (<\/span>Daizy-Mae<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>), the newest Featured Stamper (FS380<\/a>) on Splitcoast! She has such a wonderful, CAS (clean & simple) style. Makes me wish CAS came easy to me…but it doesn’t. But I did my best to trim this down. \u00a0I was totally inspired by THIS<\/strong><\/span><\/a> card. \u00a0I love the splashes of color, the dandelions and the sequins, so I kept those. I used a different greeting, my dandelions are die cuts since I don’t have an image like hers and I used an embossing folder to make my background. I also flipped it because my bigger white space was on the opposite side.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t know if you’ve heard, but one of my DT mates and recent Dirty Dozen Alumni, Chris (aka Glowbug<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>) \u00a0broke her ankle last week & she’s had a few complications. So I made this to send to her. I’m hoping this proverb will send her healing thoughts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve really been enjoying all the embossing folder stamping<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0I’ve been seeing, so I thought I’d try it. Instead of inking and misting, I tried using some sprays. Thought I’d skip a step and go straight for the spray stuff, lol. It worked wonderfully, IMHO. The sprays I used are very shimmery, but I just can’t capture it w\/ the camera. I spritzed the more solid half of the ef, not to cover, just here & there, then pressed my white card stock inside & rubbed. \u00a0The sentiment was stamped, die cut dandelions & sequins added & done!<\/span><\/p>\n
