Interesting Color Challenge today on Splitcoast (CC447)<\/strong><\/a>! Chocolate Chip, Real Red & Bermuda Bay. Not a real easy combo to make a fall card, IMHO. I could see a Christmas card, but I needed to make a fall card. So…I used the acrylic block tech on the long strip down the left w\/ the rich cocoa ink. Then I sponged the 2 blue distress inks getting darker as it went down until the bottom where I sponged more of the cocoa ink. Then I stamped the leaves with the red ink and added some white dots w\/ a gel pen.<\/p>\n

On the turquoise panel, I stamped the leaf background image with the tumbled glass then the sentiment with the red. On the leaves, I sponged the inks onto a white strip then stamped them w\/ the cocoa ink and die cut. A big button and raffia bow were added above the leaves. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.<\/p>\n
