Today’s Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast (IC409) is Barnes & Noble. Do they ever have a lot of pretty things. Who knew? I was inspired by this Decanter<\/strong><\/a>. Love all the falling leaves on it.<\/p>\n

The images I used are from \u00a0DRS Designs<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Except for the card itself, it was made entirely of left over pieces and scraps.\u00a0\u00a0I used a fine pattern woodgrain embossing folder on the rusty brown piece and on the long narrow white strip, I inked up the\u00a0silhouette leaf<\/b>\u00a0with a few colors of ink then stamped them twice each time, without reinking. On the lighter versions, I stamped the\u00a0open leaf\u00a0<\/b>on top with the clay ink. I also stamped a couple of extra leaves (open leaf stamped over the silhouette) and a\u00a0fall leaf w\/ acorn<\/b>\u00a0on another scrap then added a bit more color w\/ Copics.<\/p>\n

I used the clay ink and\u00a0splatter bg<\/b>\u00a0on top of the leaf strip for a little more interest. The greeting was stamped below directly on the 5.50 x 4.25 card front.<\/p>\n
