\n<\/a>BEST OF 2013 – CAS<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/h1>\n

A big Congrats to Pattie, the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast (FS325<\/strong><\/a>)! She has such a lovely gallery and I chose her Hey Chickie<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span> to case. I kept the layout and birthday theme, but I made central image an oval instead of a rectangle, offset it a bit and used different images.<\/p>\n

The images I used are from DRS Designs<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. \u00a0After die cutting a Spellbinders petite oval in the white panel, I used a polka dot bg w\/ white pigment ink & white embossing powder to cover it. I also white embossed the image on a piece of vellum & colored the back side w\/ Copic markers before attaching the polka dot frame on top. One wing of the butterfly & one leaf were cut around in order to have them on top of the oval frame. \u00a0The sentiment & turquoise layer were die cut w\/ circle dies & I used a Copic marker to change the color on the Candi dot from lt blue to turquoise. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.<\/p>\n
