For my card, I used the fabulous new Chickadee Ornament!<\/p>\n

I also used the lovely O Christmas Tree Carol from last month’s release. the pine branch\/pinecone from Sing for Joy and the sweet little Chickadee w\/ matching die.<\/p>\n

\nAfter stamping the ornament and chickadee, I die cut the ornament w\/ a circle die and the backing gold layer w\/ a larger circle. I used the matching die for the chickadee (such a fabulous time saver!) and added a little color w\/ copics. The pine branches were fussy cut. Originally, I had a separate background using the music background, but it just didn’t work so instead I stamped it w\/ gold ink directly on the white card front. I thought I still needed a little separation between the main images and background, so I die cut a pine green frame and added a little texture. I just happened to have the red ring (from another project) and it was the right size so I added it inside the frame edge. Instead of adding another layer, I sponged the gold ink around the edges of the card front. A little gold bow w\/ some added pine branch cut outs on top finished my 4.25 x 5.50 card.<\/span><\/p>\n
