For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC703), we heading over to Ballard Designs & I was inspired by THIS picture. I like the blue & white floral on the oval back chair.
My sympathy card is pretty simple…I die cut the long stem flower out of white & blue then placed the white outline on top of the blue version. The bottom section is an inked embossing folder border I thought mimicked the flower. I had to do a little out of the box on the greeting using a partial die cut shape. Some liquid pearls dots were added here & there after I added the blue, white & marbled blue layers.

The theme for the Free For All Challenge (F4A483) on Splitcoaststampers is Stormy Weather. Looks like my little Miss Frog is caught in a doozy of one. Her mind must be elsewhere because it appears she’s about to struck by lightning!
My card is pretty simple. I stamped the lightning bolt then used a clear glaze pen to fill it in. I figured out quite a while ago that it will resist sponging w/ Distress inks. So after I sponged on the stormy sky colors, they wiped right off my lightning bolt. I masked the ground & sponged it then added some raindrops. I also flicked some water on the bg & blotted it w/ a paper towel to add to the rain look. Miss Froggie was colored w/ Copics & fussy cut. Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

It’s my turn & my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge. A big congrats to Kerry! She has such a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I had the same cute little row of houses stamp, so I used that & kept most of the layout. But I used different colors, left off the bow & made mine a summer card instead of Christmas.
After die cutting the large circle, I hunted around for some paper to stamp the houses onto & came across a scrap of a hand marbled piece & I liked the color, so there you go. I fussy cut them & popped them up a bit. The trees were stamped, colored & cut w/ matching dies & the greeting is a rearranged version of the original greeting (Beautiful Day), plus I penned in 2 of the letters to complete it. I added a little sand at the bottom w/ a splatter image then cut the pieces of beach themed paper for the bg.
Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
