Congrats to Lori, the newest Featured Stamper (FS623)! She has such a fun gallery, full of collage-y cards & her sense of humor really comes thru on many of her cards. I have quite a few I wanted to case, but I kept coming back to THIS fun card. I kept the lady w/ the attitude & pink colors, but I used different images & dies & left off the ribbons.

After I stamped, colored & die cut my fashionista, I started looking around for paper to go w/ her & the snarky greeting. I had some leftover watercolored paper sitting there & found this scrap of black/white striped dp. I used a wonderful all in one die for the layers & cut it once out the w/c bg & once out of white then mixed & matched them back together, leaving off the largest ones. That was it..pretty quick!

Here are the Copic colors I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Such a super site for the Inspiration Challenge (IC684)! After much browsing, I chose THIS. It reminded me of a lovely stamp I have but have not used.

I used my Misti to stamp the image onto watercolor paper & stamped it once w/ lt green ink on the leaves & again w/ pink ink on the flowers. After watercoloring it, I decided the image outlines didn’t show up enough, so I stamped over it w/ gold ink & heat embossed w/ gold powder. I used an angled border die to cut the bottom & insert a piece of flower print paper, before putting them back together. The gold stripe edges are washi tape.

It’s my turn to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC683) & we’re heading over to The Spruce for our inspiration. My card is based on THIS picture. I’m also a knitter so the knitting crafts really appeal to me. And it reminded me of this fun Hat, Scarf, Mitten set.

For my winter wear card, I stamped the set onto watercolor paper using the Versaclair ink then used watercolors & a couple of blue & teal Tombow markers to color them. I kept it very light & monochromatic & didn’t entirely color them in. When die cutting it, I used my out of the box technique. The Winter word was die cut once out of the w/c paper & once out of the dp & stacked a little off to give it some depth.

Here’s a look at the inside.
