Mary will announce a winner on Sep 24 on her Blog. On the first & third Wednesdays of every month, we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop! The Special this month is the Pumpkins on a Fence stamp – 50% off!

This is also for the Featured Stamper (FS607) & I chose THIS to case.

For my CAS card, I stamped & colored the cute pumpkins then I used 2 colors of glittery embossing powder just on the tops..sort of a frost on the pumpkins look. I used my out of the box die cutting technique to keep the little flourishes intact. I also added a pair of embossed & fussy cut leaves to the orange pumpkin. On the wheat image, I stamped it w/ the acorn ink & embossed w/ the same powder I used on the orange pumpkin. I also swiped around the edge of the panel w/ the ink & embossed it, as well. The Autumn word was die cut in rust & lt blue & before stacking them, I inked & embossed just the top half of the rust colored one.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Please be sure to comment on all the blogs..it is much appreciated & also increases your chances of winning!

Welcome to the Sep #1 Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps

The Prize – One $20 gift code will go to one random commenter from the blogs. So be sure  to visit all the blogs because you don’t know which one the winner will be drawn from. You have through Sunday Sep 9 to leave comments on the blogs for a chance to win. Mary will announce a winner on Sep 10 on her Blog. On the first & third Wednesdays of every month, we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop! The Special this month is the Pumpkins on a Fence stamp – 50% off!

For my fall card, w/ the image in my Misti, I stamped the pretty Quilted Pumpkin w/ Memento, colored it w/ Copics, then over stamped it w/ Versaclair. I die cut using my out of the box die cutting technique to avoid cutting off the stem & leaf. This is one of favorite techniques..I like how it allows me to use smaller dies for the images but still keep the focus on the image. All of the background pieces were leftovers in my stash. The goldenrod & olive colored pieces were spritzed w/ bleach & the rust strip w/ the gold flecks is a leftover from my Gilded Rainbow tutorial. The leaf & acorn were stamped w/ the acorn Versaclair ink & die cut w/ their matching dies. I die cut the Fall word once out of rust & once out of goldenrod & double stacked them.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

With the warm, rainy & humid summer we’ve had, I sincerely hope fall is coming sooner rather than later. So for today’s Clean & Simple (CAS495) & Technique (TLC704) Challenges I made a fall card. The CAS challenge was to use different fonts & the TLC was to use only a third of the card front.

To make my card, I made a shaving cream background w/ Distress reinkers then stamped & die cut the leaves out of it. After die cutting the white panel, I traced around a smaller die w/ a brown fine tip pen then added just a bit of a shadow. The words were paired together from two different greetings.

Here’s a look at the inside.
