The CAS Challenge (CAS520) features repetitive stamping. And since it’s still technically winter, I have a quick snowman card.

I stamped Mr. Flakey onto white, colored him then die cut. The greeting & snowflakes were stamped directly onto the card front. A turquoise frame was added along w/ a little stickles for sparkle. I can’t believe I stamped the greeting on the card front & it wasn’t a disaster. I hardly ever do that because..it’s just asking for trouble where I’m concerned.

Here’s the inside & the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

made this for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club February Christmas Challenge! I’m part of the challenge team again this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.
This stamp kind of takes the guess work out of placing the images. It’s all one big scene. All you have to decide is what colors to use. Since it has a lot of white snowy areas, I went w/ a fairly bright blue & red. After I colored it, I used a Versamark pen to go over some of the snow & heat embossed it w/ a clear, sparkly powder. For the blue layer, I colored it w/ the same blue Copics then stamped the snowy bg w/ white ink & heat embossed it w/ the same powder

Here’s the inside & Copic colors.

For the Splitcoast Ways to Use It Challenge (WT725) the theme is Going Dotty. I have a lot of little dots of Stickles so I think that will work.

And while it’s been reeeeaaaaalllly cold here & we’ve had some ice & snow, I know all of you in the upper midwest have had a brutal time of it, so this for you!  I’m guessing the people attached to these mittens live in those areas. Sheesh! I don’t even own any mittens. I did just finish knitting myself a pair of fingerless mitts.. I figure that’s about all I’m going to need. My hands are almost always cold, but I need to use my fingers. Hence the fingerless part. To make my snowy card, I stamped the mitten part of the image once fully, then partially on each side, masking off the the greeting part. After coloring, I die cut the top edge (to resemble a hill of snow) & added the lt blue bg on which I stamped the Snow Bg w/ blue ink. I added a lime green frame to help give it some interest, added some snowflakes & a little stickles for sparkle.

Here’s a look at the inside & also the Copics I used.
