  • Too Cute

A clean, simple Halloween card w/ cute little Jack-O’Lanterns & a pierced herringbone patterned background. Easy to make w/ the matching dies & easy to customize by changing the colors or background.

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC928) we are visiting the Botanica Provincetown Pinterest Board where I found THIS cute notepad. I liked the little critters at the bottom w/ the lines above.
To start, I die cut the large white background w/ a stitched rectangle, then cut it again w/ the cover die that looks like a herringbone pattern. After coloring & die cutting the little pumpkins, I popped up the center 3 group just a bit & attached them all at the bottom. I colored a small background to go around the tag greeting & added the little bat.
Couldn’t be easier! Here are the Copics I used:

  • Halloween Greetings

A stenciled & die cut mini slimline Halloween card. Easy to make & change up the colors or use a colored designer paper for the background. So many ways to customize the look.

A big congrats to Dbamesburg, the newest Featured Stamper (FS866)! She has a sweet little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the 1 layer style & left side arrangement but used different images, colors & made mine a Halloween theme instead of Christmas.

My mini slimline card started w/ a yellow/orange/purple background I made ages ago. It was done by spreading Marvy metallic markers onto a brayer, spritzing w/ water then rolling it across the white card stock. The colors seemed very Halloweeny to me, so I used the stencil & azure ink to sponge in the tree & background bats. For the moon, I sponged the stencil w/ 2 yellow inks onto a small piece of white, die cut it w/ circle die & attached it on top. I used another stencil to add the grass across the bottom to ground it.

A few die cut purple bats were added on top as well as the tombstone & hand.  A small piece of purple die cut grass was added across the bottom of the tombstone. I positioned the greeting tag so it would appear the hand was holding it.

    Thanks so
    much for stopping by!

  • Stir Up Trouble

A fun Halloween card w/ a cute smiling cup, stenciled background & glittery goo border. Easy to make & easy to change the colors to go w/ your selection of Halloween paper.

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC927), we’re visiting Country Living Pinterest Board where I found THIS cute picture.

My little Halloween card is pretty easy. I colored the cute little smiling cup then die cut it w/ stitched circle die. I used my out of the box  for the stir stick to keep from chopping it off. The designer paper strip & purple strip behind it were die cut using 2 sizes of slimline dies, since I wanted them narrower than normal rectangle dies. I used my resizing trick to make them shorter. For the top section, I used a fun jack-o’lantern face stencil & lost shadow oxide ink for that barely there look. The orange drippy goo die cut was draped across the top of the purple strip & I added stickles to it & a couple of areas on the cup.

The center circle was popped up a bit & I added an extra layer behind the top half of the circle to even it out w/ the added layers on the bottom.
