Wonderful Ways to Use It challenge! Use Stripes! I love stripes-and dots-and most all geometric patterns. All week, I’ve been wanting to do the CAS challenge (one button), too. I have this great little chipboard button which was perfect.
Despite how it looks, this was an easy card. All the squares were done w/ nesties and that’s quick. The big red daisy is a punch, also quick.
For the little flower squares and the stripe bg, I started out w/ great intentions. I was going to use DP. I went and visited my DP for almost half an hour. That’s when I figured out most of my problem w/ using all the pretty papers. I see them all in their slots, they look so pretty and I just cannot decide.

So I used my great little stripe stamp (DRS) on the card front. Now I have one of those miter thingies, but I haven’t used it in a while so I’m not quite sure where it is. Trying to keep it quick, I placed the card front on my Score It and lightly scored the two diagonals so I would know exactly where to place my post it to get the mitered corners. Really quick.
The flower squares (IO) I stamped really quick and cut w/ the nestie. Put it all together w/ a couple of quick layers (sorry, I couldn’t resist). Tied a little piece of ribbon thru my button. Stamped the greeting (HA) and I was done. Next time, I think I’ll just skip the DP visit. It’s not like it will miss me or anything.
