The big day has finally come!!! Today marks the Second Year Anniversary since Kelley first opened Our Daily Bread designs!
Today, Kelley is releasing Four new and truly wonderful Special Edition sets! They are near and dear to our hearts, because each of us on the Design Team submitted one of our favorite verses that we would like to put on a card, and those Scripture Verses are two of the sets being released today. If that wasn’t exciting enough… she also created two sets of gorgeous borders that fit the Scriptures!
Today’s Blog Hop is special because it allows each of the Design Team members to make the first card with their own favorite Scripture! We hope you will truly enjoy the hop… and of course it wouldn’t be a Blog Hop without prizes! Today, Kelley is going to give 3 Prizes of your choice of one of these new Anniversary sets! Below is the list of our Design Team and Challenge Team members who have all worked hard to create something wonderful and inspiring for this occasion. Here is what you have to do to qualify for the prizes:
1. Hop from first to last, and collect the secret LETTER each designer will have.
2. Leave a comment for the designer on their blog.
3. Return to the ODBD blog, leaving a comment to tell us that you visited all the blogs.
4. Email Grace at: email@example.com, giving her the secret message the letters spell. (You have until 8:00 PM EST on Mar 18th to complete the hop and email the message.)
For my card, I used the new Anniversary set, Scripture Collection 3 and the Ironworks Borders. The scripture was stamped with bronze metallic ink, embossed with claret tapestry powder and cut using a Spellbinders tag. The border was stamped with gold ink and embossed with gold powder. Both were edged with a gold leaf pen. I used an embossing folder on the burgundy layer, rubbed the bronze ink over the high points and cut it out. I used same antique gold cardstock to make four faux brads. The small Spellbinders cross was also cut from the gold c/s and I cut an extra out of the ivory c/s then trimmed around the frame it left and inserted the gold cross. A small pink rhinestone was added in the center. Final card measures 6 inches square.
The secret letter you need from me is N. Your next stop will be Becca’s blog. I know she’ll knock your socks off!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
