Azalea Smile

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC688) on Splitcoast, we have Global Accessorize as our site. I was inspired by THIS picture. I liked the teal w/ the black & white polka dots.

Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten so wrapped up with this particular picture because I couldn’t find any black paper w/ white polka dots. Unless they were really big & I wanted smaller. Soooooo…after die cutting a black piece of c/s I used my Japanese screw punch & 2 sizes of bits to drill the holes. I will mention that I first used an embossing folder that has 2 sizes of dots so all I had to do was drill out the embossed dots. The azaleas are a 2 part image & the solid part was inked w/ the Distress inks & spritzed before stamping then the outline part was stamped on top. This image does have a matching die but I don’t have it yet, so I fussy cut it.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
