Starry Best

Such a great site Brenda chose for the Inspiration Challenge (IC686)! After we moved this past year, I spent a lot of time on the Sherwin Williams site looking at paint colors. For my card today, I was inspired by THIS picture. I love the colors & the sprinkling of stars.

For my starry card, I die cut the stars border into a piece of gray for the bg. Then I cut it again in white for the star outlines & again in a piece of tissue bleed bg I had from a long time ago & put them together. I also die cut the capital letters out of the same bg to insert in the greeting. A few star gems were colored w/ Copics to match & added along w/ a white scallop frame.

Here’s a look at the inside where I added the gray outline of stars down the side.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Lovely design Julie. I like how you added the colour to your stencil. I wouldn’t have thought to do that. Have a fabulous weekend.
