Pick Flowers

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC649), Angie chose Vineyard Marketplace & I chose THIS for my inspiration. I like the bright colors & floral theme.

This bg was made a while ago, using swirls made with plain old glue then using watercolors on top of it. I just really like the bright, happy colors & thought they’d go well behind these whimsical leaves. The leaves were put into my Misti, stamped, colored w/ Copics & a Prismacolor pencil overlay, then stamped again. I added the greeting & did my out of the box technique to die cut it. By the way, I first did that tutorial way back in Feb 2009 using another IO image set! It’s probably my most used technique. After matting, I used stickles in some areas, added a few sequins & some white dots for contrast.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Julie, this is fabulous! LOVE the bold, bright, vivid, and vibrant colors…they just rock! Your sentiment tag with those lovely “out of the box” leaves is so, so right for your background! In a nutshell, I love everything about this.
