The Prize – One $20 gift code will go to one random commenter from the blogs. So be sure  to visit all the blogs because you don’t know which one the winner will be drawn from. You have through Sunday Sept 10 to leave comments on the blogs for a chance to win. Mary will announce a winner on Sept 11 on her Blog.  Each month a different image is 50% off. This month- it’s the Rake! On the first & third Wednesdays of every month., we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop!

To make my fall card, I put a piece of ivory card stock into my Misti & stamped the Tree Frame w/ the Kaleidacolor rainbow ink pad a couple of times. I used a water brush to drag the colors into the image then stamped over it w/ the vintage photo oxide ink.  I ended up fussy cutting the trees & attaching them to die cut piece of ivory where I stamped the tree frame again a couple of times w/ the Kpad (to add a colored outline). The greeting was stamped w/ the Versafine ink & a couple of leaves from the Remember To set were fussy cut & added. On the bg rectangles, I stamped the Wood Grain Bg onto ivory using the oxide ink then sponged some of the antique linen & vintage photo Distress inks onto it.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Next stop is Vickie‘s Blog!  Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!

Love the colors and sentiment on your beautiful Tree Frame card! The Wood Grain Background stamp is fabulous too… how have I missed that one?!

  7. I love this card, Julie. The trees are wonderful. I liked the explanation on how you did them. I was surprised to read you fussy cut the trees. That was a lot of work. Having the sentiment between your trees like that makes you card outstanding.
