Super Mom

Today’s Clean & Simple (CAS433) Challenge on Splitcoast, is all about Flag Day…use the colors of your country’s flag. Nothing better than the old Red, White & Blue!

When this greeting came out last month, I immediately had a picture of a Super Hero Mom w/ a red cape. So after stamping her, I drew a flowing cape & colored everything to go with the Flag theme & threw in some stars & stripes (chevrons).   I die cut a pierced oval frame & royal blue layer for it, then did a little out of the box so Super Mom could be coming out of the frame. I’m sure Super Mom had to do a quick Clark Kent maneuver to fly off and take care of some kid (or husband) emergency 😛
Here are the Copics I used to color her.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have to go put on my cape now & take care of a few things, lol.

Supplies:

Stamps: DRS Designs – Josephine the Bold, Super Tired, Interlocking Stars
Paper: Staples 110# royal blue, red
Ink: Memento tuxedo love letter, Danube blue
Accessories:  Spellbinders A2 matting basics A & B, pierced ovals, oval dies, Pink & Main directional border dies

  1. Congratulations again. What an awesome feeling it must be to continuously be a favourite of the week. You did an awesome job.

  2. Julie, what a beautiful and incredible job drawing in the cap for this “wonder mom!” At first I thought this is a single stamp. I really like your coloring! Well done.
