This is my first design as a DT member for FireCracker Designs.
I love this Joy of Nature set. I rarely make square cards, but this just seemed to call for it. I cut out a 4″ circle in a piece of scratch paper and used it as a reverse mask to sponge the circle w/ yellow, orange and a little red. The images were stamped inside the circle w/ coal ink. This vanilla panel was edged and a strip of vellum w/ the top edge torn, was attached at the bottom w/ brads.
The gold strip was stamped using the yellow and gold colors in the Kpad. It was edged w/ the terra cotta maker. A square of this same c/s was also edged and placed behind the image square and gold strip.
The large black square was bugged across the top and partly down the two sides w/ a new border folder from cuttlebug. Everything’s attached to a rust colored card which has the edges lightly sponged w/ the sunburst ink. The image is highlighted with a white gel pen.

Gorgeous! I love how you used the CB folder, I almost didn’t recognize it. I also love the white touches of the white gel pen.
