Isn’t this new African Daisy image grand? This is on the new Innovative Stamp Creations Ganzia-African Daisy sheet to be released Thur. Aug 13. There are four sizes w/ this being the largest. There are also some wonderful greetings done in such an elegant font.
For this card, I stamped the largest daisy onto ivory c/s using the black ink.
I scribbled Adirondack pens in butterscotch, terra cotta and currant onto an old CD and picked up the color w/ a water brush and painted the petals. After cutting it out, I attached it w/ foam tape to a Ledger Sticker (Making Memories). The Ledger Sticker was attached to a piece of plain c/s to make it a little sturdier, cut out w/ a Spellbinders Nestie circle, then attached it to a black square w/ rounded corners.
The background was made by stamping all four sizes of the daisy w/ the black ink onto a 6″ square piece of ivory c/s. I trimmed it down to 5 1/2″ square. I took some of the trimmed strips, painted over them w/ some of the butterscotch and attached them around the central image.
I attached this to a piece of the Shakespeare 12th Night paper from Scrapperdashery (from the Bits & Pieces kit- this kit is fantastic and jam packed!). The greeting was stamped on a piece of the same paper and cut w/ a Spellbinders Nestie tag. A large orange button (also from the kit) was glued to the flower center. The final card measures 6″ square.
