For today’s Sneak Peek, I’m using the new July release, “Picturesque“.
My seascape is stamped w/ cobalt ink onto vanilla c/s then water colored w/ markers and a water brush. I cut it out using the Out of the Box Nestie technique (tutorial Here.) It’s attached to a piece of navy dp. The green layer was stamped w/ a canvas bg image and green ink.
These are attached to a layer of dp. The sentiment was stamped on one end of a long strip. A button was glued to other end and small ghost shape was attached on top of the greeting. A butterfly ghost shape was first heated slightly and bent so the wings would stand up and attached to the plant. A clear Glaze pen was used on the water and also on the centers of the dots around the dp border.
Thanks so much for looking!

oh Julie, what a gorgeous job you did with this! Your coloring is fabulous and I love your design. Your tutorial was most helpful for using the nesties to cut outside the box! Such a cool look! This is one stamp set I must have!

I do love this, too. You are such a artist. Some of us can take the same stamp and put it on a page but it just doesn’t go anywhere. You’ve stamped then created a work of art! Thanks so much for sharing with us.

My wishful message would be for the serenity set. I like all of them, and put a wish in for the other “gotta have” set on another blog. Wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants if I won both? In these tough times, I have only been able to “lust after” the things that I would like to have. Winning them would help relieve the sting of the economy and satisfy my “appetite” for new rubber stamps!!! Hisses, Rockin Robin Caldwell
