For today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT415) on Splitcoast, the challenge is to use sponging. Easy, I think, because it’s on of my favorite things to do. I added just a touch of light blue sponging inside the oval around my cute little umbrella carrying frog. I colored her w/ Copics and used my Out of the Box Nestie technique on her (another of my fave things to do).
The images are from DRS Designs. The sentiment was inked w/ 4 different Memento inks (since they’re the dew drop size, it’s easy) and this panel was die cut w/ a Spellbinders rectangle. I stamped the rain drops on the blue textured panel and I used the woven plaid stamp on the buttons and also tone on tone on the dk cobalt blue panel. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
This is also for the DRS Thursday Challenge…PLAIDS! If you haven’t checked it out, please head on over. Not only will you find the DRS Thursdays Challenge, but we have a terrific DRS Stamp-A-Versary game going on with some fabulous prize packages. All you have to do is guess. And DRS images are not required to enter the Thursday challenge, and you have a week to enter.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
