Had fun with the Technique Lover’s Challenge (TLC389) on Splitcoast. Wow! I didn’t realize we had so many bg tech in the resource section that I haven’t tried! So I did a new one (for me) on two of the bookmarks: pastels on black. Since my images are smaller, I did just a bit inside the stamped white lines.
The images are all from Our Daily Bread designs. On the largest bookmark, since it’s entirely a silhouette, I did it a little differently:Brilliance moonlight white under black ink and no pastel pencils. I first die cut the bookmark and leaving the die in place, I sponged the Brillance ink all over the inside. I place a little reverse circle mask and sponged more white ink for the moon. Then the silhouette bookmark image was stamped in the black ink on top. A few highlights were added w/ a white gel pen.
I used a fourth bookmark to make my pocket on the card front to hold the other bookmarks and attached the sides w/ some mini brads to the embossed background. The card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
