It’s Monday and that means it’s time again for the Outlines Monday Challenge! Today we challenge you to make a St. Patrick’s Day card.  You could win a $25.00 gift certificate to the Outlines store when you link up your Outlines creation on the Outlines Blog.

For my shamrock card, I used a mega oval die and the Out of the Box Nestie technique to cut out the image. I stamped some extra shamrocks and popped them up on top of the originals.  Another mega oval was cut out of the sky blue c/s and I attached it behind and down from the image oval. Some little Swarovski crystals were added in the shamrock centers.

I used a Quickutz scallop border to die cut the striped dp and added it down the left side.  The sentiment from the image was stamped separately,  punched w/ a leaf punch and attached to a die cut round tag. The tag is attached to the scallop strip w/ some twine.

And these are the Tombow markers I used to color the image and a look at my workbook.

What a wonderful site for today’s Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast (IC325)!I had such a hard time picking just one so I may be back later. For this one, I was really inspired by the colors and pattern in the pottery at the bottom of This Page.

This is pretty much all dp; three sheets from the Scarlet’s Letter pad. The images are all from Our Daily Bread designs. The chickadee and greeting were stamped on vellum and I used a white pencil on the back side. They still didn’t stand out as much as I wanted so I backed them w/ a piece of white paper. This time no fussy cutting…I picked up the matching die for the chickadee recently and I love it.

The hymn was stamped w/ the Memento ink and I added two lines of the punched bird border on top and bottom. The 3 little dew drop like thingies were done w/ a product called Glass Effects. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I’m in luck…today’s Free For All challenge at Splitcoast (F4A105) is to add “character” to your card. If it can smile at you, it counts. Since my little glow bug is definitely smiling, I think he counts!

These are all new images from DRS Designs. This is also for the DRS Thursday Challenge to use a tag. I split up the one line sentiment onto 4 separate tags and added the popped up glow bug on the largest tag w/ a little stickles on his wings. The retro starburst was stamped w/ the white ink on the cobalt bg and I used a zig zag punch to make the the triple band and also the yellow border. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.

I hope you’ll check out the DRS Thursday Challenge . Though we’d love to see you use them, DRS images are not required to enter and you could win a fabulous prize!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
