It’s Inspiration Challenge day at SCS. Our inspiration came from a Pier I catalog. I was really struck by the autumn colors and all the texture. For my card, I inked the pear (ASITH) w/ DI inks then misted it and stamped onto white c/s. I added some sparkle by going over it w/ a gold glitter marker then cut it out. I stamped the words (ASITH), the bugged the edge w/ one of the new border folders, then rubbed the ink over it and added gold glitter marker. I pierced some holes down the left side and stitched it to a strip of the green then added the pear on top w/ foam tape.
My bg is my attempt to duplicate some really pretty Basic Grey dp I saw in the Boxer collection. I stameped and stamped the medallion images (SU- sorry I borrowed the set and forgot to write the name down) in various colors of DI and rubbed the inks over the bg. I stamped a few w/ the white ink on top. This is layered to red, then gold and finally green textured c/s and the image is attached off center.
